The Standard Visitor visa is a visa category for visiting the UK. It allows visa holders to travel to the UK within a given period of time and stay for a short period of 6 months.

In general, applications for Standard Visitor visas depend on the applicant's nationality and the purpose of their visit. If the applicant is from a country that requires a visa to enter the UK, he must apply for a visitor visa to travel to the UK; applicants can check through the Home Office website of the UK Home Office.
