A Schengen visa is a short-stay visa that allows the holder to travel to any member state of the Schengen area within 180 days for a 90-day visit, such as tourism or business. This visa allows the visa holder to freely enter and exit the Schengen area from any Schengen member state.

  4. Round-trip air ticket reservation or itinerary

  8. Proof of payment of visa fee

  9. Other required documents such as proof of employment

The above are the general requirements for Schengen visa application. Depending on the applicant's circumstances, there may be additional requirements, and applicants can check with their local embassy or consulate for more information.

Depending on the reason for the visit and the frequency of the visit, the Schengen Consulate can issue a single-entry visa, a double-entry visa or a multiple-entry visa.

 

If the applicant travels frequently and meets the specific requirements for visa application, they can apply for an EU visa valid for up to 5 years. However, within a 180-day period, the visa holder can only stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 days.
